Creative Arts Dance Academy has put together a dress code in order for the teachers to assess how well the students are implementing the technique being taught, problems with alignment, and other important aspects of dance training. Required dancewear and dance shoes must be worn to all classes. Please do not buy dance shoes from Target or any stores other than certified dance stores. If shopping on Amazon please make sure you have the correct shoe information before purchasing. Our staff has picked the shoes that we feel are best for class. Teachers will check to make sure shoes are correct, if not they will need to be returned. Once shoes are worn, you will not be able to return them.

Hip Hop sneakers can only be ordered through CADA, please email your dancer’s shoe size if taking hip hop. Tights can also be ordered through the studio (especially for the recital as we require a certain color, style and brand) NO DANGLING JEWELRY. 

All hair should be pulled back off the face secured with a hair tie. If you forget a hair tie, we have some in the drawers in the lobby. 

Please WRITE YOUR NAME IN ALL YOUR DANCE SHOES. There is a used-shoe exchange bin in the studio – please feel free to take or leave a pair.
